The AAFC (Australian Amateur Football Council) approved the inclusion of Tasmania as a member of the AAFC and to participate in the next Triennial Series 2008 - 2010. Tamania fought gallantly but went down by 11 points in a arm wrestle with the WAAFL in Devonport. All Australian Team Announcement Following the completion of the Triennial Series 2005 - 2007, an All Australian U 23 Team is to be selected. The following players have been selected in the Australian U23 Tour of Ireland in September and October 2008.This is a considerable honour for those selected and they deserve sincere congratulations.There are 5 representatives selected from each of the 4 competing states.
